iOS 5 improvements (video)
Apple has added some 200 new features to new iOS 5. Let’s talk about some of the most important ones in detail.
Apple is a champion on implementing what people really want. The most important upgrades that are added to iOS in this new version of iOS5 are iMessage service, Notification Center, Music app, improved Mail, new Safari, Twitter integration, updated Calendar, Settings, improved keyboard and Reminders. Apple tries very hard to always find ways to make things easier, more instinctive and more user friendly. All these apps or features are well integrated into the iOS and work flawlessly.
Here is a quick run through the most important improvements to iOS5 by T3:
Notifications – allows you to access your notifications like missed calls or messages wherever you are. Find it right on top of your screen of any iOS device.
News Stand – this shelf stores and automatically updates you favorite subscriptions. It also allows you to enter the AppStore.
Safari update – Safari allows you to save articles you read so you can easily access them later.
iMessage – send videos, photos, contact, messages to any other iOS device via WiFi or 3G. It’s like Blackberry messenger for iOS.
Reminders – manage your shopping lists or To Do tasks, by creating or grouping them. You can even set a location to your task.
Camera – access it from your lock screen directly. New iPhoto allows you to crop, enhance, size right on your screen. It also allows you to group and store your photos in your album.
PC Free – wire free over the air access to all your devices and updates.
Mail – drag your email address to your message. This also allows you to underline, bold or italicize your text before you send it.
Airplay allows you to mirror your iPad and other iOS devises right on your TV wirelessly via Apple TV.
New adjustable keyboard – this allows you to adjust or split the keyboard to make it more comfortable to type on your iPad
