Quickoffice
Are you looking forward to use your iPad as a tool to edit office documents on the go? Then, you might want to give this app a glance. The famous mobile company, QuickOffice has released an Office Productivity suite so that you are busy chewing word and excel documents even during your lunch time. The Quickoffice Connect Mobile Suite supports old office formats (xls, doc) as-well-as new office formats (xlsx, docx). However, the capability to edit Powerpoint presentations will come later this year. That said, you can still merrily read all your PPT files on the iPad without any problem.
What is extremely frustrating that the owners of the iPhone version cannot upgrade to the iPad version. You are forced to shell out 10 dollars just to make the app use all that extra screen real estate. Not fair at all if you ask me. Also, unlike Docs to Go, there is no desktop client for syncing files and you are forced to use the usual browser method to upload and download the files. [link]
