Dell launched its Streak phone few days back and has enjoyed good success. One of the readers asked me to compare the Dell Streak vs iPad. Here is the comparison
- Size: The Streak is much smaller than the iPad, but certainly not pocketable
- Resolution: The Streak has 800×480, while the iPad packs 1024×768 pixels. This means iPad can display more data at a time
- The display in both devices is capacitive, but Dell screen can take a lot of beating and can still remain scratch-free
- OS: iPad runs iOS 3.2 while the Dell Streak runs Android 2.1 with 2.2 upgrade in the tunnel. iPad will get iOS4 update in November
- Storage: iPad storage starts at 16GB and goes upto 64GB. Streak comes wtih Garfunkel 4GB storage.
- microSD card slot: iPad does not comes with any card slot. Streak does via which you can add upto 32GB of storage
- Phone – Streak can function as your phone too. iPad cannot.
- Camera – Streak has 5MP autofocus camera. iPad lacks camera
Do you know more differences? Let me know.
